Last Friday the 9th of June, the school captains went to the vicSRC Student Voice workshop in Preston. We had a great time and learnt that everyone in any school should have a voice and be heard, and have a say in how things are run at the school.
We began work on discussing things about our school we would like to improve, and we chose to give the Preps and the 1/2s more of a voice. So, we had to make a plan and then perform a play of it in front of a crowd. Then we had lunch and we played games to learn teamwork skills. We left the conference with a lot more knowledge of how to give everyone at our school a say on how things are run and we can take this back to our JSC and make a difference!
